I looked out my window and what did I see.........a batch of black birdies!

So far we definitely can't see, but we can hope...and patiently wait.

We Wore a Poppy for You

…. in remembrance of all Veterans

Today we post with gratitude (not obligation).

Today we watched, we cheered, we cried, as we remembered. 

(via CBC as the ceremony unfolded in Ottawa).

We are happy we did not remember alone. It was a joy to see both old and young present in the large crowd.

We are so thankful for all those who fought for our freedom.  To all those brave soldiers who were willing to leave the comforts of home and battle in the trenches.  (I’m sure those were not the most glorious of days)

Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones, and to those who have been injured while on duty.

We are thankful for all those who continue to fight for freedom.

Today, I wonder if the greatest tribute to our veterans would be, for all Canadians to work together, pray, to ensure the continuance of freedom for all in the beautiful land.

Happy Remembrance Day!

The Snow Artist Returns

It's November and with temps dipping to -20 C or so over nite....Mr. Frosty was busy again... Just the perfect conditions for creating Snow Art!

It's October and We're Thankful

It's October and we're Thankful .....for Colorful leaves still on the Trees!

Here they are blowing gently in the breeze

We're glad to see

be found

Todays Color is Yellow

It is time to get some color on this blog.  So today's color is Yellow!

A Cheery Pansy

I always enjoy seeing the pansies. They add such a cheery presence to where ever they choose to bloom.

The Dandelion

Usually what I see first are the dandelions.  (I can count on them to survive the winter.)  You must admit they do add some color after the long days of white and grey.... of winter.

A Beautiful Yellow Butterfly

I was enjoying a nice walk when I happened to look down and find this beautiful yellow butterfly.  I am glad it wanted to be photographed.
