............God made "puppies"! (My paraphrase)
The verse says: "And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind; and God saw that it was good." Gen 1:25
Ok maybe he made their parents first, but I'm sure He had puppies in mind. Cute, cuddly, playful, wagging tails and all, beautiful puppies.
What a way to cheer your day to see that cute little face, tongue hanging out, tail wagging like crazy and if he could talk say, "Will you come and play with me?!." How can you resist?
