I don't know why people get so hepped up about dandelions. I'm with you -- I love their cheery persistence in making our world a cheerier place. They don't seem to give a hoot about what other people think.
I'll have to go on a nature walk and see what I all have blooming, as most of it would be wild. I do know that my nanking cherries have a few blooms and the marigolds I started are starting to bloom.

They seem to be doing rather well this year. I guess they don't need rain and the frosty mornings don't bother them either. Good picture, Betty.
