On those hot days it is nice to be near the water.

My Summer Is ~ A Tea House Visit

Green Tea in a green teapot!  How cool is that!

I actually had tea at the tea house! (Not bad for a coffee lover.)

...and of course there is dessert to be enjoyed!

My Summer is ~ Fascinating Dragonflies

Did you know that there are over 5000 varieties of dragonflies around the world?

Of course most of them are, where we aren't, but we can still find a variety of them close to home.

I think the one fact I like the most about dragonflies, is that they like something I don't ~ mosquitoes! So when I see a dragonfly I am glad!

But enjoy them while you can, as a dragonfly spends most of its years in the water in the nymph stage and only a short time in the adult stage.  (from several weeks to maybe six months)
